Her First Snow

Posted January 16, 2008 23:08 , Comments (1)

We just woke Georgia up to took outside to experience her first snow! The flakes were big and it was coming down really hard. Of course not it has turned to sleet but I am glad that we got Georgia out. Who knows when it will snow again.
The last few weeks have been great. I really want to thank Aunt Mamie, Aunt Ala, and Uncle JB for visiting with us. Our house is small but we has a great tuesday sleepover. I am so lucky to have such a great family who want to be part of my daughter's life.

Her first Christmas

We had a great first Christmas. We could barely get the car packed there were so many toys and clothes!
She has begun bouncing in her excersaucer and really gets a kick out of it. She is also enjoying sitting up by herself. We have been sitting her on the floor with the boppy around her and she really enjoys playing with her new stackers and rattles!
We introduced her to her first lobster on Sunday and she was so curious about it. She is such a curious baby that we are constantly showing her new things and she gets very fixed on them. She especially enjoyed skyping with her Polish family. The video and keyboard get her really excited.
We appreciate all of the gifts and had a wonderful time with everyone over the holidays!

A mover and a shaker

Well the holiday season has been fun so far, even though decorations aren't getting put up and naps aren't getting taken. Georgia has found that she can jump in her excersaucer and does it every chance she gets. If there is no excersaucer around she will try to jump in your lap.
I think that she is within weeks of sitting up by her self. She tripods farely well and enjoys sitting in laps, but can't sit up by herself just yet.
Her other favorite past time is making noise. She likes having her voice heard!
If anyone enjoys getting a Christmas card, gift, or picture from me this year it is all thanks to my sisters Amanda and Shelley, and my mom and Spiros. They came and took Georgia away for the weekend giving me time to get lots of things done and catch up on some much needed laziness!! Love you guys!

Wild November!

Well Georgia's 2nd tooth started breaking through on Thanksgiving. She was very cranky, but now has her two lower front teeth. They make a cute grin! She is now using the fruit strainers to chew on. I think that she really enjoys it.
After Thanksgiving she spent a few days with her daddy and her poppy.
She also had her first fever this week due to a cold. It was 101.6 and we were very worried. She seems to be getting better and has finally gotten her appetite back.
This weekend she will be 6months old. I can hardly believe it! She has already outgrown her 6 month clothes because she is so tall!

Georgia's new smile

Sunday, August 4th, Georgia showed off her first tooth. She has been drooling and gnawing for a while, and finally her lower left incisor broke through.
With the good comes the bad. Georgia is back to barely napping and only scantly eating, but has not expressed that she is in pain. So far she has not taken to teething rings or needing pain killers; she simply wants to be held and played with.
